2009 - Present - THE ALASTAIR JAMES BAND (GUITAR & VOCALS).
Original music and covers, crossing the genres of folk, blues, soul, jazz & reggae.
Artist in residence at the Ambassador Hotel 2010-2011. The Merchant Irish Bar 2009 - 2011. The Spirit Of Yorkshire 2017 - Present. Perform festivals, functions, weddings, clubs and pubs throughout the UK.
2018 - Present - RAINY DAY’S BLUES BAND (DRUMS).
Roots & Chicago Blues band. Perform a regular night at Cellars Bar, Scarborough.
2017 - Present - BEN BEATTIE’S AFTER MIDNIGHT BAND (GUITAR & VOCALS).
High energy party band led by international saxophonist Ben Beattie. Perform at festivals & high profile functions throughout the UK and beyond. Performed at high profile venues at the prestigious Guinness Cork Jazz festival 2017,2018. Due to return 2019, in high demand.
2017 - Present - ONE NIGHT OF BILLY JOEL (GUITAR, PERCUSSION & BACKING VOCALS).
A premier Billy Joel tribute band, performing at theatres and functions throughout the UK.
Led by Robert Schmuck, including some of Scarborough’s top players.
2016 - Present - THE JELLY ROLL JAZZ BAND (GUITAR & VOCALS).
Trad Jazz Trio, band in residence at Farrer’s Bar at the Spa Complex in Scarborough, and the Forrest & Vale In Pickering. Perform on the street, in pubs, at party’s & high profile functions throughout the UK.
2016 - Present - THE SULTANS OF THWING (DRUMS, GUITAR & VOCALS).
Swing jazz & vintage blues band led by ex-David Bowie guitarist John ‘Hutch’ Hutchinson.
Perform functions throughout the north east, and band in residence at The Spirit Of Yorkshire Whisky Distillery 2016 - 2017.
2016 - Present - THE ROBERT SCHMUCK TRIO (DRUMS, BACKING VOCALS).
Jazz/Easy Listening/60’s & 70’s Pop. An eclectic mixture of some of the finest songs written.
Perform functions and venues across the north east & beyond.

Acoustic pop/ folk/ jazz duo. Resident musicians at the ambassador hotel in Scarborough. 2010 - 2011.
